Big news: BOXPARK is coming to Digbeth!

The award-winning London street food venue will open a brand new venue in Digbeth, all set to launch in 2025 and will become the second BOXPARK development outside of London, after Liverpool!

The new site will be located at the Floodgate Street Arches in the heart of Digbeth and will add to Digbeth’s already thriving independent food and drink scene, as well as expanding the entertainment offerings.

BOXPARK has agreed on a 15 year lease with landlords The Arch Company for the site! Under the 4 12m railway arches, you will find a stunning food hall and events destination, spanning nearly 17,000sq foot.

There will be space for 10 kitchen units and 4 bars within this! Plus, it’s proposed to include external space for seating with 2 bar units, perfect for al-fresco dining and drinks!

BOXPARK has become a huge name, known for its diverse street food offering, independent traders and iconic events. The group is expected to invest £5m into the scheme, bringing development and jobs to the area.

Working closely with Birmingham food operators, artists, creators and performers the development team promises to embody the local talent to help bring the space to life.

BOXPARK’s CEO, Simon Champion, said: “We are delighted to announce the new location for our next BOXPARK venture. Our team has searched extensively for sites in Birmingham since 2016, and having considered multiple locations across the city we believe Digbeth is perfect for this scheme.

“The area’s eclectic mix of creative businesses is the perfect match for our ethos of supporting and championing local creatives from food to art, music and beyond. As a dynamic and fast-growing business, we hope BOXPARK will be an exciting addition to Birmingham.”

Since it was founded in 2011, BOXPARK has evolved from being the world’s first pop-up mall to the capital’s most high-profile branded dining, leisure and retail developments.

BOXPARK Digbeth will mark an exciting time for the area, with a range of other developments in the pipeline, including Digbeth Loc Studios, the new BBC Headquarters in Birmingham and the Masterchef Studios.
