Whilst we know Digbeth is a talented neighbourhood, home to so many pioneers and award winners, we are pleased to announce that word is getting out… With not one but two cocktail bars being listed amongst the Top 50 Cocktail Bars in the UK!
The list is handpicked by a voting academy of experts, made up of key figures from the hospitality industry, of which include leading operators, influencers and drink critics from all across the UK.
This year, 4 Birmingham bars made the Top 50 list, including Digbeth’s very own Passing Fancies!
Passing Fancies, opened their doors in September last year and are going from strength to strength, offering unique cocktails, delicious plates, amazing wines and good vibes
“The kitchen at a house party” is how owners; Tommy Matthews, Matt Arnold and Eve Green, describe Passing Fancies, with the bar being the centre of the atmosphere.
The bar is open and welcoming, the drinks are carefully thought out, the soundtrack is hip-hop bangers and there’s a selection of sumptuous small plates on offer. What more could anyone want?
