When you think of vegan food in Digbeth, Ba-Ha is one of the first to come to mind! Ba-Ha serves up their multi-award winning humane food at The Rainbow – think burgers, pizza, moorish starters and desserts, Sunday roasts, bottomless brunch and so much more!

Cafe LoveLife (Floodgate Street)

Cafe LoveLife’s Mediterranean inspired menu has been a hit in Digbeth since it opened last year, and their vegan options are no exception!

Indulge in plant-based brunch favourites like the scrambled tofu and harissa onions on focaccia toast, or the daily acai bowl, get sharing with their vegan meze, or upgrade your Sunday lunches with their whole roasted cauliflower, served with all the vegan trimmings.

The Old Crown (High Street)

Birmingham’s oldest pub has plenty of must-try vegan options – top picks include the grilled flatbread with pumpkin hummus and house seed dukkah, and buffalo cauliflower wings from the starters and sharers, or for mains go for the Beyond Meat burger or tofu gyros!

And as a bonus this January, enjoy 2 meals for £20 when ordered through The Old Crown app – available Monday to Saturday, until the 24th.

Kanteen/Rico Libre (Gibb Street)

Home to delicious “feel good food”, pop by Kanteen during work or your Digbeth explorations for vegan sandwiches, hotboxes, pastries and hot drinks.

Then at night, this space transforms into Rico Libre, your go-to for vegan tapas including patatas bravas, crispy aubergines and empanada gallegos de pisto.

Chance & Counters (Gibb Street)

Board games AND vegan food? Count us in! Choose from over 600 board games and lots of vegan food too, including Beyond Meat burger, crispy tofu tacos, five bean chilli nachos and plant-based filthy fries!

Baked In Brick (Gibb Street)

One of Birmingham’s favourite pizza restaurants, Digbeth’s Baked In Brick has got you covered for vegan Neopolitan pizzas – check out the grande marinara or posh vegano this Veganuary!

HANBAO (Floodgate Street)

Get your best vegang together to try the Vegang Clan, Hanbao’s very own vegan burger! This features a plant based patty, vegan cheese, tomato, white onion, shredded iceberg, vegan HANBAO special mayo and a glazed seeded bun – delicious!
