Get your taste buds ready for a sizzling summer like no other! Digbeth is known as the pioneer of street food in Birmingham, and this summer we are seeing a plethora of street food events taking place in venues across Digbeth.

BBQ Fest is coming to Digbeth the first weekend in August! 

Taking place over 2 sessions from 12 – 4pm and 4.30 – 8.30pm, expect a mouth-watering line-up featuring the best in local talent, including; Andy Low’n’Slow, Smoke & Bones, Broke ‘N’ Bone BBQ, West Midlands Jerk Centre, Hope You’re Hungry, Street Souvlaki, BA-HA, Brum Mi, The Bournville Waffle Company and There Goes Coffee, plus many more!

There’s fun for all to be had with live music, kids entertainment and independent market traders – what more could you want?!

Wing Fest

That’s not all folks…we also have a huge chicken wing festival coming to The Bond, for a 3 day bonanza over the August Bank Holiday Weekend in Birmingham!

Organisers boast that 100k wings will be served up by 10 different street food traders, restaurants and BBQ teams – delicious!

Saturday 12th August

Tom Zanetti & Friends

Luna Springs (Lower Trinity Street)

Bringing Ibiza beach party vibes to Digbeth, Tom Zanetti & Friends will be taking over Luna Springs on Saturday 12th August!

Expect festival production, Ibiza style performers, glitter stations, inflatables, food stalls and more – this is an event you won’t want to miss.

Back 2 The Old School

Miss the old school jams that used to run Digbeth? The Rainbow is turning back time on Saturday 12th August with a night dedicated to 90s and 90s hip hop/R’n’B bangers. Plus, you can get free entry before 11pm.

What’s Happenin’ Weekender

Wondering What’s Happenin’ this Bank Holiday at Dead Wax? Well, a brand new festival is coming to Birmingham’s most buzzing area, promising the best emerging acts in their line-up!

On Friday, Phil Madeley will be the main act, followed by The Skinner Brothers on Saturday, and The Rills on Sunday, plus many more artists you won’t want to miss here in Digbeth.

Saturday 26th-Sunday 27th August

Páirc After Party

You don’t need the luck of the Irish to get into Páirc Festival’s after party – you just need to come to The Old Crown in Digbeth!

Páirc Festival is back for the second year, bringing the likes of Van Morrison, The Waterboys, Nathan Carter, Mary Black and a whole lot more to the New Irish Centre in Kings Heath; thankfully, the afterparty makes it way back to the spiritual home of the Irish, taking over The Old Crown to keep those Irish festival vibes going.

Fresh off the Páirc stage, All Folk’d Up will be performing on Saturday 26th, and on Sunday 27th, Ceol will perform alongside a very special mystery guest!

Sunday 27th August

Bank Holiday Sessions

Mind The Gap will be returning to Digbeth for a HUGE Bank Holiday Day Session at Luna Springs on Sunday 27th August!

There’ll be BIG headliners, massive production, unrivalled crowds and more – it promises to be Birmingham’s ultimate Bank Holiday event, so keep an eye out for more details.

Thursday-Saturday throughout August

Pleasure Island, Misdemeanour and Dirty Discotheque

You can always guarantee a good weekend at Digbeth favourite Mama Roux’s! Kicking things off on Thursdays is Pleasure Island, their all new burlesque show and afterparty, with the bar opening at 6pm and show starting at 9pm.

Then, Friday nights see Misdemeanour, bringing Berlin to Brum with their iconic cabaret show and club night. That’s not all…Saturdays are for the Dirty Discotheque, their nu decadence cabaret show and club night, their biggest night of them all!

They’re even hosting an extra Dirty Discotheque on Bank Holiday Sunday, so you can expect double the fun this August Bank Holiday weekend.
