Roller Jam (65) – as well as their iconic roller skating rink, Roller Jam has arcade games, air hockey tables and so much more – plus, you can get student tickets on certain events when booking online. 

Golf Fang (72) – don’t blame us for any flat fallouts after a game of crazy golf at Golf Fang! And students can enjoy 18 holes and a drink for just £14.50.

Dropshot (75) – even Sophie Turner has been spotted at this Digbeth venue, housing table tennis tables, shuffleboard and pool tables, whilst serving up the best cocktails, craft beers, woodfired pizzas and more. Plus, they have a student night on Wednesdays, so don’t miss it!

Luna Springs (69) – Brum’s biggest event space is the home of unbeatable club nights, bottomless brunches, Bingo Lingo, Moonlight Cinema and more – and students can get 25% off here!

Nights out

Mama Roux’s (71) – the home of extraordinary entertainment, Mama Roux’s is a cabaret club x discotheque with weekly events – students will especially love their 50% off drinks on Saturday daytimes, along with drag, vocalists, DJs and more!

The Mill (67) – The Mill is known for its huge club nights and rooftop terrace – as well as their freshers events, upcoming events this semester include Birmingham Reggae Festival, Cirque Du Soul with Shy FX, and live music from the likes of Sundara Karma and The View.

The Rainbow (61) – the “heart of Digbeth’s nightlife”, The Rainbow is known for its live music and live sport! We can’t wait for their freshers offerings, including a Drakeover on Monday 18th September, and Qué Pasa x Aston Welcome Week Takeover on Tuesday 19th September.

Suki10c (3) – one of Digbeth’s most unique night-out venues, Suki10c has drum n bass, rock, dubstep and reggae events amongst their offerings!

Foodies

For roomie dates and study breaks, head to Digbeth for some of the best independent eats in the city!

Baked In Brick (41) – you can’t beat a woodfired Neapolitan pizza! Plus, they have an in-house bakery, so you can grab fresh bread and patisserie if you come by in the daytime.

Kanteen (48) – grab a spot of lunch and coffee at Digbeth’s independent coffee shop  – you could even make this a study location! Come evening, it transforms into Rico Libre for a delicious tapas experience, perfect for birthday meals and special events.

Hanbao (20) – taking burgers to the next level, Hanbao takes inspiration from around the world with its tasty menu! Along with its famous burgers, there’s loaded fries, chicken wings and twists on your usual cocktails.

Ba-Ha at The Rainbow (61) – looking for some of the best vegan food in the city? The award-winning Ba-Ha can be found within The Rainbow Pub – they have all your favourites made vegan, and even have bottomless brunches and Sunday roasts!
