With The Good Food Guide naming Birmingham as the most exciting city for food last year, The Times also celebrated Digbeth’s thriving food and beverage scene; “Digbeth has classy bars (Passing Fancies for cocktails, Chance and Counters for board games) and places to eat from pizzas at Baked in Brick or Crazy Pedros (late-night haunt of Birmingham’s top chefs), to the high-end menus at Michelin young chef of the year Kray Treadwell’s 670 Grams”
It’s an exciting time for Digbeth with The Bond recently relaunching as ‘the Midland’s new creative content hun’, work on Steven Knight’s Digbeth Loc Studio’s officially beginning, and the BBC announcing their move to the area.
